Benefits

Here is a list of general benefits available to all employees of Bay Area Medical Center. Additional benefits may apply based on position. Contact Human Resources for a comprehensive list of benefits for a specific position.

Health insurance: Available for all employees whose position is at least half time. Premium stays the same whether part time or full time.

Dental insurance:Available for all employees whose position is at least half time. No premium for full time employees, reasonable premium for part time employees.

Pension plan: Defined employer contribution. Eligible for enrollment after one year of employment. Partial vesting after two years, full vesting after six years.

Paid time off plan: Accrued paid time off package available for all employees whose position is at least half time.

Short-term disability insurance: Premium paid by employer for employees whose position is at least half time.

Long-term disability insurance: Available for all employees whose position is at least half time.
