The new Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area opened its doors in August 2018. Emergency care

The emergency department is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays, to attend to the emergency needs of those in Northeastern Wisconsin and Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We are a Level III-designated trauma care facility and a certified Acute Stroke Ready Hospital. Aurora Bay Area provides paramedic-level ambulance service to two counties with four advanced life support ambulances. We support over a dozen volunteer ambulance agencies and provide a helicopter landing zone.

Cancer center

The cancer center offers a comfortable and healing environment. Our caregivers recognize that cancer is not like any other disease. They understand the life changes that occur when a patient first hears the words "you have cancer." The cancer center team has committed, experienced staff that create a warm, friendly and encouraging place to heal the body, mind and spirit.

Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area is the home of Orthopedics & Sports Medicine BayCare Clinic, a multi-specialty group that sees patients and performs procedures in the hospital every day.

Our experienced staff of physical and occupational therapists works closely with our referring physicians to treat a wide variety of orthopedic conditions to get you back to doing what you love to do at the Bay Area Mobility Center in Marinette and satellite clinics in Crivitz and Stephenson.

Outpatient surgery

The general surgery team at Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area’s Center for Outpatient Surgery uses the latest techniques and technologies to perform a list of procedures, including:

Women’s health

As special and unique as the women in our area, the Women’s Health Center at Aurora Medical Center – Bay Area is here to help keep women healthy their whole lives in a convenient, one-stop location. The center offers professional and personalized attention in a comfortable environment. Services include:

  • Digital mammography
  • Incontinence treatment
  • Obstetrics
  • Osteoporosis treatment

Our OB department features five large labor and delivery suites. There’s also a dedicated C-section suite with three rooms for post-delivery recovery. And the entrance and exit of the department are secured and managed by staff.
