This program features specially trained occupational therapists with a high level of experience in the evaluation and treatment of patients with hand, wrist, elbow and upper-arm injuries. Our therapists use patient-specific evaluation and treatment techniques which are supported by evidence-based practice to help patients return to their previous level of function at home, work and play.
The hand therapists are highly skilled in the application and modification of treatment techniques, including range of motion, strengthening, wound care, joint mobilization, soft tissue mobilization, static and dynamic splinting, physical agent modalities, ergonomic assessments, work station modifications, and patient education.
