Wound care

It is estimated that 7 million people will suffer from chronic wounds this year, which is increasing by 10 percent every year. Despite large scientific and technological advances in the field of wound care, nonhealing wounds continue to be a significant problem for many people. Wound patients generally have a chronic disease or have wounds associated with trauma or burns.

The Bay Area Wound Clinic treats people who have chronic, complex, nonhealing wounds resulting from a number of conditions, including pressure sores, poor circulation to the feet, diabetes, extreme obesity, nonhealing surgical wounds, ulcers and injury.
